Again perhaps?

So this summer I am doing nothing. At all. Ah bliss :)

Therefore, I will be trying the Uberman Sleep Pattern AGAIN! Ahahahahaha. I don't know if anyone will be doing it with me. Joanna said she could if she doesn't take the SAT prep class again.... and Ahndy said she'd try again too.

I've been doing some more reading on this sleep pattern and apparently it makes it MUCH harder if you keep messing up and it's also detrimental to one's health. Therefore!, we are going to PUSH THROUGH! and not mess up and deprive ourselves of sleep because it's worth it! I really want to get this down at least for the summer. It will be fun and interesting.

Last time, however, I sort of forced people into it. I'm not going to do that this year. Ask them once, if they say no, then they say no and that's that.

I've discovered that the person who coined the term "uberman" has written a 77 page book and has it on lulu. It's about 15 dollars to order the paperback version which is what I think I would like to do. She was on this for 2 years I think? and all of the risks and the benefits and the overall experience is written there.

Soo yeah. I'm really hungry right now and I'm in english class and the bell is about to ring so I will end this post now and post more details about what's happening later.

Well Then...

So. Look at this! Nearly one year later. I didn't even think of telling you guys what happened!

So basically we figured out that the only way we would be able to stay awake in between our naps is if we get up and do something, not just lay in bed (like *COUGH* Nicola and *COUGH* Ahndy did) So anyways, that didn't happen so we pretty much slept through the whole night. At first I tried to wake them both up but then they got mad at me and claimed that they were awake (even though they weren't :() I kind of gave up around day 3. It was fun while it lasted. I want to try it again now that I re read these posts! The sad thing is that I doubt anyone else will want to :(

Introduction Post!

I totally forgot about an introduction post! Cause I didn't think that some people might not know what I'm talking about. Anyways what we're doing is called Polyphasic Sleep more specifically, Uberman's sleep. It's where you sleep for half an hour every 4 hours. By taking naps, you trick your body into going into REM faster which will make you feel as if you'd gotten a good night's rest :) Even though you only got 3 hours. Yup so for more info search google. Too lazy to post links. Lol Anyways .... :D :D Good bye now

*Yawn*

Well it's 6:35 now. I've now sucessfully fallen asleep for every nap but have yet to enter REM. Ugghh. We overslept 5 minutes cause my alarm isn't loud enough. Hopefully I'll be able to get the alarms down today (since its daytime and all) I got a new alarm widget and it plays music so I can set my computer alarm and my cellphone once I start entering REM. My hand hurts.

Uggh Okay well we're off to Kalapawai. I'll update again later
Alrighty well I finally got a layout I am happy with :)

It is currently 3:57 am and I was exhausted 10 minutes ago, before I drank a cup of very strong coffee. I'm starting to wake up more now.

It's interesting how you actually get more tired when you take 30 minute naps rather than when you stay up without any naps. Like I can stay up till 4 am no problem but when you take naps you get all groggy. Supposedly this is supposed to go away soon so that'll be good. Anyways, this has been well worth it so far and coffee is about to become my new best friend ^^

Well then. It is now 4:02. I'm feeling more awake. Hopefully I don't feel as groggy after our next nap at 5:50. Apparently the early morning nap is the one where most people oversleep. Not good. I'll be sure to set my alarm for AM this time instead of PM like I did last time...Oh yeah. Forgot to mention

For the 1:50 nap we overslept by about 13 minutes x.x due to me setting the alarm for PM and not AM. Stupid me. Anyways. Yeah. Did I mention that we're going to watch the sun rise this morning on the roof? Should be fun. I want to go out to get coffee and breakfast at kalapawai. That would be fun. I wonder what time the sun rises....I think I'll go check

Alright well its about 1:45 am right now and we're still up and typing on computers/reading books/doing something else ^_^ Not TOO tired yet (obviously) Certainly can't wait for the next few days though :) (sarcasm. in case you didn't catch that) Almost time for our next nap.
